Y’all… This is what I’m marrying…
I was spending time with my Dream Eaters and my flowbermeow, Sebastian, attacked me with love. It was kind of adorable in a virtual sort of way.

Exactly my thoughts. Also why even hate on a console when you have not even gotten to play it at all? and that is why I have always loved Nintendo they are like my gaming rock. I really don't understand why the Wii U is hated other then it is not a "Hard Core Enough Console" which is total crap if you ask me. A console should not be judged by the size of its GPU. Nintendo doesn't need high GPU they have a softer art style to all there games. Any way thanks for letting me rant. haha
I LOAAAAAATHE gamers that put down other gamers for what they play. Let people play what they want to. But it’s the same with everything—books, music… If you don’t like the same genre, brand, author or style of someone else you’re immediately inferior. And I don’t know why people expect Nintendo to suddenly come out with a decked-out gaming machine that can do everything you ever wanted a gaming system to do. They have to keep in mind their primary audience—a younger crowd that they have to protect from some of the scarier and more vulgar sides to gaming.
I don’t think I’ll ever buy a Wii U just because there are no games screaming for me to get one, but when I saw what all it could do at the E3 that they displayed the fully-developed one at, I was amazed. Sometimes Nintendo is a hit or miss when they try something new, but they know their audience and they are innovators. They’re the first to take the risk and try something completely new with their consoles.
And yes, their style is softer. Essentially, their marketing mascot has been Mario for years. You don’t get hardcore with Mario. It’s Mario. I do like, however, that they are trying to reach out a bit further—at a steady pace, I might add—with games like “Zombie U.” I was actually interested in trying that game out, but like I said, I won’t be investing any time soon. The only reason I decided I really wanted the 3DS was because, other than AC, a lot of games starting rolling out for it that I wanted, and I still see new ones coming out that I’d love to get. Currently, my eyes are on “Donkey Kong Country 3D: Returns.”
And you can always rant to me. :)
Portal just consumed an hour of my night.
I promise to stop fangirling about “Animal Crossing: New Leaf” after tomorrow.
I will have you soon #AnimalCrossingNewLeaf!
But here’s the thing:
- I’ve been one of the few staying away from some of the news about “New Leaf” because I want everything to be new when I play it—but I enjoy drooling over scenery porn and adorable furniture displays.
- I just completed a 17-hour credit semester where I was also working a—let’s face it—full-time job as the Managing Editor for my university paper, and after my semester ended, I had to complete a big project designing the student planner as my internship (and as long as I was on campus I still had to be the face of the paper because I was just hired on as Editor-in-Chief). This = no time.
- I don’t even have the game. I’m probably just going to wait until money from that internship comes in before I purchase it. Which won’t be until the end of the month. We’ll see. I may just go ahead and spend a paycheck on it and remind myself I do have that internship money coming in so it’s okay to buy this one thing—especially when I love it so.
In other words, when I say I don’t know—I’m unfortunately serious. I would LOVE to be able to answer all of your questions with authority, and usually I can answer any question you have about Animal Crossing and Animal Forest, but not when it comes to “New Leaf.” I’ve both shielded myself from some new information for fear of spoilers, and I also haven’t had any time to even play or look up information about the series since I was home during Christmas. Which is why all y’all have gotten from me in the last six months are reblogs, for the most part.
I’m sorry, guys. I feel like I’m failing you when I can’t answer a question. :( I’ll just go into hiding now…
hey remember when i used to draw when i had text posts? i keep saying i miss doing that… here’s an old one.
^^ Reblogging this from my AC account for those who have been asking me questions here, too.
Come to me, “Animal Crossing: New Leaf!” Leap into my arms!
Saw this in GameStop today. I fangirled so hard, I’m pretty sure I embarrassed the Hell out of my friend Eric.
