We’re all about Pottermore in the newsroom. And my editor just got sorted into Ravenclaw with me! Oh, happy day! (Taken with instagram.)
I received a rude comment this morning which I’m not sure was intended for me (because I’ve never done such?) or just to be posted to the public of this blog about bashing newbies. I’ve deleted the comment but just want to get this out there before the following update.
I don’t care who was on Pottermore when, beta or not, and it doesn’t even matter. I didn’t even know this was an issue. I don’t know why people would care about that or talk down to someone because of when they were able to join.
The same thing happened during Beta based on who joined on which day. I thought that whole mentality died off quickly but apparently it resurfaced now that it’s open to all.
What matters is we all love Harry Potter. What matters is we are all nice to each other. What matters is that Pottermore exists at all and we are fortunate enough to get to use it. Let’s all stop discriminating against people based on the date they joined, it’s just silly.
So let’s all smile and bask in the glory that is Harry Potter! Now, for an update.

Queen Rowling would be disgusted by the rude attitudes. Just saying.

Would it be totally lame or totally awesome if I started a forum for Ravenclaw members? Real-time chatting and conversation, guys?
I agree. Where the fuck is my owl??! >:-[Pottermore not opening anytime in the “immediate future”!?
My father will hear about this.
